What does it mean to be a reseller of Switchvox?
The short answer is that you will be able to purchase Switchvox at a discount based on the number of units that you sell. This will allow you to sell Switchvox at full retail value to your customers, along with on-site service and maintenance fees.
How do I become a reseller of Switchvox?
Just fill out the application on-line and you will be contacted via email to complete the registration process.
Can I get just the software?
As a reseller, you will be able to purchase a the Switchvox Software Edition to install and resell on certified hardware systems. The installation of the software takes only minutes and includes everything that you need to get up and running quickly. Switchvox is a complete distribution, so everything that you need comes on one disc and installs with no knowledge of Linux, Asterisk, or Phone systems. The certified systems are outlined in the reseller area of the Switchvox website that all approved reseller partners have access to.
I want to install Switchvox on my own hardware. Can I?
Resellers may only install Switchvox on certified systems, even if only for in-house use. If there is a hardware system that you would like to have certified, Four Loop Technologies has a Hardware Certification Program avaialble to our reseller partners. Please contact your Program Manager for details.
How do resellers place orders?
The reseller website contains a resellers' store that keeps track of your purchases to provide you with the proper discounts based on your sales volume. With the Switchvox Reseller Program, you'll never have to fax in an order form, you can do it all online!
Are there required quotas?
Nope.
Can I get a demo system?
Access to a reseller's only demo server is available to all resellers after completing the online reseller application. Resellers are also encouraged to maintain a server of their own to use as a demonstration server for their clients.
What kind of training will I receive as a reseller?
We will schedule at least one 2 hour training session either over the phone or in person if you are in the Southern California area. You will receive instruction on installation, setup, maintenance, features, support, and sales techniques. Training takes place using a Switchvox server specifically set aside for training resellers.
What about support, both for and by resellers?
Resellers will be trained to provide front-line support. Resellers that select to offer support to their customers will earn a greater discount toward their support contract purchases. If an issue arises that is not able to be handled by the reseller, Switchvox will provide support. Because our annual support contract fee is so low, we do not provide a per incident rate for support.
What is included with the support option?
Phone and email support by Switchvox representatives and any upgrades, enhancements and patches for a full year.
