Feature Spotlight: Follow Me

The Follow Me feature transfers the caller to another phone number, extension, or line, if the call goes unanswered for the specified amount of time. Switchvox customers can input as many numbers as necessary to "hunt" through in sequence, and if they all remain unanswered, the caller can be directed to leave a message via voicemail.
- Follow Me User Scenario:
You would like to give callers the best way to reach you, but you have so many phone numbers and your hectic day makes it difficult to predict when you will be in the office. You can set up a Follow Me sequence to handle the calls that come in to your Switchvox extension at work. When a call comes in and rings for more than 3 rings without being answered, Follow Me will try your home number (not even on the PBX system!) for 2 rings, and if that doesn't work, try your mobile. Hopefully you've been hunted down and you haven't missed an important call.
Like many of the features the Switchvox PBX has to offer, Follow Me is easily configured through the easy to use web-based customer interface.
